Shipping & FAQ
Please be patient with current orders. I want my stuff right away when I order it and I know you probably do too. What many don't know is that AHC is just me, by my lonesome here, just the way I like it. The business end of things (customer relations, vendors, dealers, machinists, designing, prototyping, building tools or dies, advertising, shows, phone calls, financial shit, shipping, blah, blah...) can keep me from being in the shop sometims. It's ridiculous but it doesn't take much for one guy to fall behind. I do try to answer my emails promptly and check them often when I am in the shop. UPDATE - With my new location in the Rocky Mountains I ship on fridays only. If I head to town earlier in the week I try to get shipping out but I have no pickup where I'm at.
Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery of custom parts and fabrication. You can email me at email@example.com or call to find out lead time for your order. Some items will take longer due to being made to order, coating, maching, etc.
Backorders/Out of Stock
Just because the item you ordered is not identified as "out of stock" does not necessarily mean that it will be in-stock at the very moment you order it. We will notify you by email within 48 hours if the item you ordered is not available.
I try to keep the store updated but spend most of my time in the shop. If something is not listed here or shows out of stock send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. I might have an extra laying around and just haven't gotten around to updating inventory in the computer.
From time to time, I may list items that have not been released from production yet. I offer these items so that customers may pre-order the items. Pre-orders are reserved with payment up front on a first come, first served basis. You may also request to be placed on a "notify list" and I will let you know when products are in-stock and available for delivery. Prepaid orders always get priority for delivery.
Domestic shipments are generally sent via USPS Priority Mail. If alternate shipping method is required other than the options provided on the checkout cart, send me an email at email@example.com with your order information & complete shipping address and I'll get you a quote.

I do not offer a warranty on custom parts because I have no control over how they are installed and used.
There are no refunds or returns, credit or exchange on custom parts.
No returns will be accepted without prior approval. To return an item you must first contact me at email@example.com to get a "Return Merchandise Authorization" (RMA) number which needs to be included in your shipping box. Shipping is non-refundable and customer is responsible for any additional shipping fees. Returned items must be in like-new condition. Returns sent with no RMA number will be returned to sender.
